中国有色金属加工工业协会成立于1981年11月4日，是经国家主管部门批准、民政部核实登记的社会团体法人。其活动接受国务院国有资产监督管理委员会的领导及民政部的监督。现有会员单位412个，个人会员53个。下设重有色、轻金属、铅锌加工、粉末冶金、半导体材料和工艺装备6个分会。25年来，尤其是近几年来开展了大量为企业服务、促进行业发展的工作，活动有声有色,效果十分显著,深受企业欢迎,并受到政府部门的好评和表彰。2003年3月和11月分别被国家经贸委和中国工业经济联合会评为《2002年度先进行业协会》和《中国先进工业行业协会》。中国有色金属加工工业协会的长远目标是“团结奋进、开拓创新、突出服务、搞活做强”，工作的要求是“服务、诚信、开拓、奋进”。目前主办有会刊《中国有色金属加工》和会报《有色金属经济情报》，并按期免费赠送所有会员单位和个人会员。

China Nonferrous Metals Fabrication Industry Association（CNFA），established
on the November 4th，1981，is approved by the state authority and registered
as a legal person of social association at the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
Our activities are under the leadership of the State Owned Assets Supervision
Committee of the State Council and the supervision of the Ministry of
Civil Affairs. There are 412 member units，53 person members and 6 branches：Heavy
nonferrous metals，Light metals，Lead, Zinc fabrication industry，powder
metallurgy，Semiconductor materials and Equipment. For 25 years, especially
over the recent years，we have developed plenty of services for enterprises
to promote development of the trade. Our activities are wonderfully
organized with remarkable results achieved. Our efforts are warmly welcomed
by enterprises and win great recognition and complement from state authorities.
We were honored as 2002 Outstanding Trade Association and Outstanding
National Industry Association by the National Economic and Trade Commission
and China Industrial and Economic Union respectively in March and November
2003. The long-term goal of NCFA is to highlight our service and actively
develop ways to build us stronger by a strong sense of unity and aspiration
as well as spearheading innovations. Currently, we are the major organizer
for the periodical of the association --- “Nonferrous Metals Fabrication
in China” and the newspaper of the association --- “Economic News and
Intelligence in Nonferrous Metals Industry”. And in regular intervals,
we will send out free editions to all of our member associates and individual
members.
